How you run
Solvers are drawn to the gearbox of things. Where others accept that something works, you need to know why — so you open it up, trace the mechanism, and rebuild it cleaner in your head. Most of this happens silently, in a workshop nobody visits. Then you say one sentence that reframes the entire problem, and the room wonders where that came from.
The paradox is that a mind this rigorous produces so few finished artifacts. You hold yourself to airtight logic, yet your hard drive is a museum of brilliant drafts — because the moment a problem yields its principle, your curiosity has already left for the next one. Completion bores you; comprehension is the prize. You are exacting about ideas and cheerfully chaotic about everything else.
Your one non-negotiable is that things must make sense. Rules that exist because they have always existed get quietly dismantled in your presence; you will follow any instruction that survives the question why, and almost none that doesn't. People sometimes read this as contrarianism. It isn't. It is a refusal to let sloppy reasoning walk around wearing authority's coat.

In a relationship you are low-drama, oddly funny, and more devoted than your casual surface suggests. The catch: you process feelings the way you process everything, internally and on a delay, so partners may need to ask what's running in the background. Tell them. At work
Your ideal job description is one hard open question and permission to chase it. Research, engineering, analysis, tooling — anywhere the problem is genuinely unsolved — brings out your best hours, often at strange times of day. What drains you is theater: status meetings, process for its own sake, rules nobody can defend. You need a manager who grades output rather than attendance, and colleagues who can hear a blunt critique of the idea without hearing an attack.
